Digital Skills Accelerator

Enhancing the quality and relevance of students’ digital skills. Today’s generation of students are at risk of falling victim to the digital divide. However, the divide is no longer about access to technology, but the ability of young people entering the labour market to use Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) intelligently and creatively to become individuals who flourish in an increasingly digital world.

Women Entrepreneursin in STEM

The WISE project will introduce an apprenticeship style learning placement framework tested with at least 40 female entrepreneurs in participating regions who will experience work in a high growth STEM enterprise for a structured placement period.   This draws on the best practice of work-based learning and marks a radically new path in VET development in the UK and Ireland.

Smart Data Smart Region
Smart Data

The Smart Data, Smart Regions project will respond to the challenge of managing the exponential growth in the volume of data that governments, businesses and organizations produce by directly improving the ability of entrepreneurship VET policy makers and practitioners to understand, teach and implement smart data within their institutions. Moreover, it will help them use data to adapt and optimise entrepreneurship development strategies at regional level, becoming “smart regions”.

Apprenticeship Alliances

Apprenticeship will build the capacity of intermediary bodies to develop and operate support structures which will facilitate SMEs, especially small and micro enterprise, to become apprentice employers. Thanks to its unique structure, the project will generate a tangible impact on the ability of 80+ intermediary organizations to liaise with key actors and to provide information, guidance, training and accompaniment to SMEs, who as a result, will be more likely to become apprentice employers.

Embedding Entrepreneurship Education

EEE Project: An innovative approach to foster Entrepreneurship Education in Europe.

The EEE project employs a bottom up approach that empowers university staff, and creates sustainable relationships for HEIs and other actors in the entrepreneurship ecosystem to work together.

CORRIE The CORRIE project aims to raise awareness on the topic of responsible tourism and recognize the inherent business opportunities. Using this approach, the project will increase business skills and foster a "responsible" mentality among people and communities active in tourism. CORRIE project aims to create new innovative approaches to address competitiveness and unemployment, in particular at regional and local levels. This will result in a reduction of rural depopulation Finally, the project aims to build high value/low volume (specialized) rather than high volume/low value (mass) tourism.

modern MODERN aims to increase the ability and motivation of teachers, trainers and lecturers to use digital learning resources as a means to more effective, relevant teaching, thereby causing a positive impact in their students.

Creative Communities
cc Creative Communities will create a new and effective model for creative industries training and support within a community environment; one that provides access to vocational education for key target groups but also leads to broader economic innovation and revitalisation.

Creative Entrepreneurs Online
ceo Creative Entrepreneurs Online will assist creative industry entrepreneurs to learn new skills, sell their products and service online and ultimately make increased profits. In addition CEO will also benefit the vocational and higher education communities by providing up to the minute open education resources, and developing an innovative triple helix model of Industry - Education cooperation.

Food Incubators Transforming Regions
food incubators Food Incubators Transforming Regions aims to forge an effective & replicable model to provide the learning and structure to develop food kitchens & incubators in local communities. This in turn will spur sustainable economic development by reducing barriers and increasing resources to start small productive food businesses and jobs.

Enterprise in Interface
Entrepreneurship in Interface has been carefully structured to generate improved access and quality of enterprise training for disadvantaged people living in interface areas, by updating the knowledge, skills and organizational capacity of the VET and community organizations who serve them.
